The Eskimo Nebula, so called because of the resemblance to a face with a furry hood, is also referred to as the Clown-face Nebula or the Lion Nebula. It is a planetary nebula in the constellation of Gemini and is ~4000 light years distant.

Technical Details: Taken with a Canon 40D through a Celestron 9.25" f/10 SCT at prime focus. 21 out of 30 exposures chosen to not show trailing each 15s at 1600 iso. Stacked in DeepSkyStacker and processed in Photoshop.
