Technical details.
Taken through a 200mm Canon lens with a 20Da 20 exposures each of 30s at iso 800. Stacked using ImagesPlus and processed in Photoshop.
Taken in September 2007 at the Kelling Heath star party, Norfolk, UK.

This Galaxy is a member of our local group and is best seen in binoculars or a wide field telescope at low magnification.
It is around 2.7 million light years away and is 50,000 light years across.
